FAQ
❓ How many eggs will my hens lay?
Most hens lay 4-6 eggs per week each, depending on weather and care.❓ What happens if I go on vacation?
You can arrange for a neighbor or friend to care for the hens while you're away, just like any other pet. If needed, we may be able to assist—contact us for options!❓ Is chicken care difficult?
Not at all! Our hens are low-maintenance. With food, fresh water, and a clean coop, they'll be happy and productive. We provide all necessary supplies and guidance.❓ What if something happens to my hen?
We understand that unexpected situations arise. If a hen becomes sick or injured, contact us immediately, and we’ll help resolve the issue.❓ Can I keep the hens at the end of the season?
Typically, the hens return to our farm for winter care. However, if you're interested in keeping them, let’s discuss options!❓ Are hens noisy? Will they bother my neighbors?
Hens are surprisingly quiet! Unlike roosters, which can be loud, hens mostly cluck softly throughout the day. Your neighbors are unlikely to be disturbed and might enjoy them, especially if you share a fresh egg or two with them (wink)!❓ Can I play with them and pick them up?
Absolutely! Our hens are friendly and enjoy human interaction. With gentle handling, they can become quite social, making them great for families and kids. They especially love treats. Our information package will outline all the things you can and can't feed them.❓ Do I need a permit?
Check with your local municipality to ensure backyard hens are permitted in your area. We’re happy to help guide you through the process!

Still not sure? We totally get it! Some decisions take time—after all, it took us seven years to find our farm and ten years to buy a truck (we're laughing, but not really). If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out! We'd love to chat—after all, the chickens aren’t the best conversationalists.
